Traditional Chinese Massage (Tui Na)

Traditional Chinese Massage has been practised for around 2000 years.  Chinese Massage therapy is a wholistic approach to health care that aims to provide relief from physical ailments, and may also relax and revitalise the mind.

Tui Na Massage involves deep massage techniques and can also incorporate acupressure, cupping and moxibustion to assist with:

✓ Musculoskeletal sprains and strains
Pain
Stress

Chinese Massage may also relax and re-energise the mind and is an excellent way to assist with day to day stress.

TCM can be applied  after a brief consult and screening process including  pulse and tongue readings as well as a variety of tests to ascertain the underlying cause to your ailment.

If you are familiar with general western remedial massage or physiotherapy, then you will feel the similarities with Tui Na, plus a range of benefits after the treatment, as the body is treated as a whole entity, not just a collection of acute symptoms.

Health funds claims are available for Bupa, Medibank, Frank and CBHS via request.  Claiming with your Health Fund must be done directly and can’t be done in our clinic via TYRO.

Note: Chinese Massage allows the client to choose if they wish to remain clothed during their appointment or be draped with towels, like a usual remedial massage

Please Note: For the comfort of all clients, babies & children are not permitted in our Massage rooms, whilst a parent is having a massage.
