Spiritually as a Healing Tool

Research has shown that spiritual or religious beliefs can increase the ability to:

💚Cope with stress
💚Improve mental health
💚Increase self awareness
💚Improve lifestyle choices
💚Reduce substance abuse
💚Increase mindfulness

Beliefs systems can teach you that it is okay to feel your emotions, just don’t give that emotion any control.

To be spiritually grounded is to be fully present in the now. To not be caught in the memories of the past or worrying about the future.

It is important to read what uplifts your spirit. This includes social media.

Real change starts with people talking about what they care about.

That maybe your spiritual or religious beliefs, your children, career, pets or hobbies.

Research has even shown that incidental prayer has a small healing effect. That is when someone prays for someone else to heal without that person knowing.

Clinically I have seen when a patient practices their unique belief system, they are able to overcome drug, alcohol and food addictions, as well as unhealthy relationships and environments.

Belief is 20% of each healing program.

If you believe a placebo (a sugar pill) will make you feel better it will.

A nocebo effect is when we believe something will make you sick and then it does.

Imagine what you are capable of if you believe in the medicine you are taking?

Mind over matter.

If you would like any support book a naturopathic appointment and discover how Kim can support you to take control of your health and wellbeing again.
