A mum with a passion to educate and guide people to discover and live their own unique happy and healthy life. Kim initially became a Naturopath because she wanted to be able to care for her family and is now passionate about caring for you and your family.
Kim has always had a strong desire to care for people and has seen firsthand how powerful natural medicine can be. Physical, mental and emotional pain and discomfort is the body trying to tell you that something in your body is imbalanced and there is a need to care for you. Balance is obtained when nutritional, physical, mental, emotional and energetic needs are being met.
Kim will help to identify the underlying cause of your conditions and guide you on a health journey you didn’t even know existed!
Kim regularly attends conferences and seminars on natural medicine topics and enjoys continually expanding her knowledge through courses she completes.
Kim loves to read, meditate, spending time in nature, yoga, outdoor recreations, learning and chooses to surround herself with positive, inspiring and uplifting people. So if you are ready to make a change book an appointment with Kim and let the journey begin!

Luke Paten – Acupuncturist
Bachelor of Health Science Acupuncture
Areas of interest:
Holistic health care, stress management, Post natal rehab, Mental and Emotional Health, Musculoskeletal Injury and Wellness
I love health. I believe Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture are an excellent form of health care and is particularly relevant in this modern world. Chinese Medicine is fundamentally a Holistic Health Practice. Meaning, treatments can yield specific and indirect positive outcomes. Also, that links between physical signs and symptoms and emotional signs and symptoms can be explored and explained in Chinese Medical theory.
It is my privilege to practice Chinese Medicine and I have been very lucky to learn other aspects of health also. I have had the opportunity to learn Massage, Martial Arts and Stretching based health exercises.
It is my dream to work with people as a Chinese Medicine practitioner and help them achieve their health goals. Whether that be support overcoming significant health challenges, getting more energy to get out of bed in the morning, improving your dandruff or just wanting to feel happier.
Hui Xu – Acupuncturist
BMed, MD, PhD, AdvDipAc
Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping and Acupressure
My decision to become an Acupuncturist began when my family moved to Brisbane, after I worked extensively as a medical practitioner in China, biomedical and clinical researcher in Singapore. I always pursue the best career that fits nicely with my caring personality and genuine desire to help people reach their optimal level of health. I eventually found that being an Acupuncturist combined with my expertise in Western and Chinese Medicine practice and research experience, can make my dreams come true.
I believe that every patient is unique and being healthy is not merely the absence of disease. I advocate a holistic view of health incorporating nutrition, positive thinking with stress management, in conjunction with my medical knowledge and research experience in my practice. I have been practising at a couple of multi-disciplinary natural therapy clinics in Brisbane and have treated a variety of common conditions such as Headaches, Insomnia, Anxiety, Women and Children’s health issues. I enjoy and am passionate about delivering excellent clinical outcomes for my patients.
Jess Cheney – Nutritionist
(Currently on Maternity Leave)
Bachelor Health Science (Nutritional Medicine) – Endeavour College
My special areas of interest include digestive health (IBS, food intolerances, gastrointestinal infections), mental health (stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, behavioural disorders, addictions), reproductive health (fertility, dysmenorrhea, PMS, PCOS, endometriosis)
I believe the body has the capacity to heal itself when we provide it the right environment to thrive and so getting to the underlying cause of disease manifestation is my ultimate goal so that health is truly sustained.
Understanding the biochemistry of the human body is my road map. I go back to basics through looking at which systems and pathways on a biological and physiological level are imbalanced and treat accordingly.
Supporting people as an individual and as a whole being – mind, body, spirit. The treatment you receive will not necessarily be the same as your next door neighbour.
Research and evidence based practice. This means that supplementation and treatment recommended has come from lots of reading of clinical studies, research articles and journal literature so that I can ensure the best outcomes for you. This way of practice is what is deemed as science and evidence based, very similar to the medical profession, only nutritionists use nutrients.
Balance and practicality of treatment is important. I will work with what you are willing to do, as I know we are all at different stages of our journey.
